OAP Nature Camp at Rice Rivers Center - $325.00

Our brand new Rice Rivers Center Nature Camp is a day camp for middle school age students at the VCU Rice Rivers Center. We will have a variety of activities each day including stream science activities and canoeing along the James River and the recently restored Kimages Creek. Throughout the week we will be joined by folks who are part of the VCU Prothonotary Warbler research team and folks from the Virginia Oyster Shell Recycling Program (VOSRP)

What: Rice Rivers Center Nature Camp
Where: The VCU Rice Rivers Center (3701 John Tyler Memorial Highway, Charles City, VA)
When: Choose between two dates- June 17-21 or July 15-19
What time: 9am-3pm
A courtesy shuttle will be available between the VCU Monroe Park campus and Rice Rivers Center. Students can be dropped off at Monroe Park at 8:00 a.m. to be transported to Rice Rivers Center, and will leave the center at 3:00 p.m. to return to the Monroe Park campus by 3:45 p.m.
Age Range: rising 6-8th grade students*

June 24-28
Cost: $325

Our optional early drop off will be at 7:00am and our later pick up will be at 5pm. These offerings are available for $25 per student per time for the whole week (morning or afternoon) or $40 for both for the week. Please select these during registration.
