We’ve joined forces with the VCU’s Massey Cancer Center, sponsor of Richmond’s Monument 10K Race, to bring you an all inclusive training program. Over six weeks, you’ll learn the tools and tricks to increase your endurance, work on your stride, and stay injury free. We’ll be meeting once a week for either an educational session, or a team run, but some of the training will require some personal running on your own time. Additionally, we’ll be collectively fundraising as a team for our partner, the Massey Cancer Center. Walkers are encouraged to join!
Items included with registration: 10K training plan adjusted to your personal pace, 2-3 collective team runs, $10 off registration to Monument 10K race (students only), and a Rec Sports team t-shirt! After paying and registering for our course, we will be sending out a google form to fill out so that we can get some information on your personal fitness level, as well as schedule availability.
